Dry and Dusty.

Hello Dears!
I melt two topics into one post today.
First outfit, a mix of few vintage like (or real vintage) brands I love.
Again, this dress is usually worn with a petticoat but here I didn't wanted to put one, as I think you should see its natural shape, which is really a nice fit.
Only, I might add I forgot a belt.
Shouldn't tell, but I clearly see it's missing now ...
That little shop window is great antique , don't you think ?
Outfit:

Last vintage crush, What Katie Did. I started buying suspender belt and stockings at WKD because it is very good quality. I should do one special review on them soon cause they treat lingerie so well.
Stockings by What Katie Did.

Then, Second Outfit ! I wore a coral and white Fifties dress from HerNameisRita dressing (not creation) to my PressDay at the Balajo, Paris.
It always was a dancing place since 1935.
All wooden , they haven't change a thing inside and the disposition remains really retro.
Only the painting have been restored.
It was a meeting between bloggers , press and the Puppini Sisters.
I was delighted to meet Laurence and Sylvain from Lost in the 50s, who are really nice and interesting people to talk to... And the Puppini Sisters ! They were adorable.
I will prepare a little interview for you guys in a next post.

Hope you enjoyed both topics !
If you have any questions, project, collaboration let me know and ring the bell!

I'm a 90s , B!tch.

This shoot is so different of what I use to do! It's tooo trendy for me, oh my god look I even have Stan Smith.
Well the thing is that these Stan are actually quite old but well conserved... I use to wear them at high school.
With that perfecto fake-leather jacket! Yeah, that's right I have stuff that never change and never leave my wardrobe that I keep loving and wearing in fact.

So speaking of this high school era, the bag is new but it was exactly tucked the way I use to wear it.
I've begin familiar with handbag a lot later then...

Outfit:
Old Perfect Jacket Faux Leather H&M
Backpack Bag Zara

You thinking, well well 90s Stan 90s wall perhaps what about the dress?!
I do believe it has some 70/80s look as it is fluid and loads of buttons.
But even it may have been designed in the late 80s, my Mom was actually wearing it... When she was pregnant... I can't even realize where she might have hidden me in her belly cause the dress is even a bit tight for me NOW so...
As I'm not pregnant, there is some kind of magic happening here!
Stan Smith, Adidas
Plug Earring from Crazy Factory

Actually , I just received a deep more vintage order from Etsy in my letter box and if you are lacking of early circas next to this post you can find lovely items onto my friend Jessica Cangiano's online shop for Chronically vintage. It was all nicely wrapped and all... I just adore to receive this kind of mail !

Her Royal Tilt.

Somebody told me that this combo of colours was something related to our British Queen or in some way some traditional British colours.
I may admit I didn't know about this but anyway it kind of fit with what I wanted to expose today.
I expected this post to be vintage and retro as "usual" cause I know myself well but I mainly wish to give the impression of a female Robin Hood character thanks to my green tilt hat... Don't know about you , but to me it's exactly what I can imagine !
Robin Hood was a character spreading the idea of freedom, fighting for peace like so many other. Even contested sometimes I want to embrace a similar role towards feminism.
This word so altered and denied is a simple step to face reality or should I say inequality.
I don't want to be only for one gender type, please do not get me wrong. I am not even trying to tell this to blame men. No, that will definitely be the opposite.
I wish to be feminist and to blame women. Why ? Because I think , there is still so much to progress and it shameful than some of this evolution is paused because there is some women who don't want to think about it and who think they're happy like they are.
It is because of you: Old woman who thinks that's only the way we use to do. It is because of you: Young Pin-up girl who thinks old was good so it's normal to be a good "housewife" and to be proud of the name. It is because of you: The lady who only dresses in Gray, black, or in Summer White maybe. The good length of a skirt will be under or just above the knees but that's all.
I wouldn't try to be too good at work because anyway I will have kids one day.
I am a good person because I am a teacher, a doctor or anything if only I could tag myself.

Outfit is:
Hat: by Cindy, from the Vintage Hat Shop
Blouse: from a Rétro Party I attended recently, the Blogger Slanelle was thrifting her wardrobe !
Skirt: Sweetbeefinds, lovely Etsy Seller !
(Plus, I wear no Petitcoat , it is great was it has a good shape from the start)
So Women , I know being the "firsts" to do something I know it's hard. But please do what you want to do. And think. Think of what YOU really want.
Do not hide behind something. Behind a style, a job, a husband, a wife, parents, children, people and fake ideas.
DARE.

Shoes: My Touch of Pink from Tapouillon Vintage
Coat: this Summer Sixties Coat is Amazing , isnt it? From SomeLikeitVintage shop.

Photos from Betty Gaiss. Hairstyle from Cherry Crown.

And don't Forget about the previous giveaway it'll stop next thursday !

Daffodils.

I'd wish these days come back to the ones when I felt so happy in yellow clothes, the ones I felt close to the sun.
Its warmth, holding me strong , like I were the only one to deserve happiness even when I know I had bad times.
I'd like her to hold me this way again.
I don't want to start missing her love.
I tell you all of this but maybe it's no right.

But this is how I feel these days and I so want to shout it out.
Have you encountered this yet in your relationship ? A moment when your perfect and mature couple show a failure?
You never figure out when it will happen.
I so wish We will be alright.

Sir-cle.

Too Many interesting trends I want to talk about this winter , but let's face it I do like them so I dont care I'll post and re-post about it.
After curiousity tendancies, and scottish patterns, Forgot to mention something really Nice and Simple on the producted effect.
The Circle Skirt !
Okay I even do like the name. Well, in général I like when in fashion you have funny names, for something meant to be serious ... Pencil skirt, bat sleeves...
Anyway, I love them cause they're not mini and have this retro effect I love.

Further more, you can even make them by yourselves! I'm Pretty sûre There's sewing kit and everything available on Etsy. The main thing is to cut as large cloath  as to have a big pizza shape, and a Tiny Hole for your waist in the middle.
I wont try. I'm such a mess, sewing and all. But Thats Pretty much of it.

There's picture from Designers collection, I loved.
Dolce&Gabbana even in l'idée religions patterns I liked, but I do think that everyone Will agree on the fact that overcover the cloath is a good thing, if you cant really focus on the shape of the clothes ...
I dont care! I even think some of it are available in Topshop... Gorgeous looks are posted on Vogue. It, so sorry for the bad quality I posted to illustrate.

So Thats Pretty it. Circle skirts. Do you believe that Vinyl could be use in that glamourous way? Ill love it , its the best way to use this material, I reckon.
Here, a last photoshoot I make With my Harstyling Concept CHERRY CROWN for Sas Terpstra Photographer.
The model is Still Victorienne, stylist Gemma B. And Make up Artist Aurélie G.
Enjoy!
